For the Love of Oceans

We are excited to share a new video that features music from the soon to be released album Reverence. This video is as yet unlisted on Youtube until the official release date of the album on March 4th. Our distributor granted us permission to share it early with the condition that it only be offered to our subscribers until that date. With it being Valentine’s Day and the celebration of romantic love so prevalent, I would like to stretch the concepts of an “us” and “them” to include the whole earth.

Our record label Curve Blue continues the work we started in 1981 under the banner of Wind Over The Earth. In those earlier years we were working closely with Paul Winter who was creating music to remind us of our connection with all species and across all cultures. The experiences in the wild with musicians, authors, and filmmakers led to the kind of friendships that transcend time. The artistic collaborations we have produced have grown from our interconnectedness and interdependence.

This piece, “For the Love of Oceans,” was composed and performed by David Darling with the footage provided by the Oceanic Preservation Society.  It is an open invitation to find your way into a boundless love.
